About Matthew Broussard

From New York to Florida, Matthew Broussard is a is a disgraced financial analyst forced into stand up comedy. The product of a Cajun chemist and Jewish microbiologist, he earned a degree in Applied Mathematics he always manages to bring up. (Just did it!) His comedy is heady, self-effacing, and weirdly… educational?

As a comedian, he has appeared on the Tonight Show, Conan, his own Comedy Central Half Hour special, and some stuff with MTV2 he doesn’t like to talk about. You can also see him on The League, The Mindy Project, Nora from Queens, and in the upcoming film Here Today with Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish. He is also the creator of the webcomic and puzzle app, Monday Punday.

Also featuring, we is Laura Sogar. She is a former professional swimmer who failed to make the Olympics. Thankfully she’s funny and her stand up comedy has been featured in the New York Times and Time Out Magazine. Yes, she has met Michael Phelps. Together Broussard and Sogar have a podcast called “She Does Stand-Up Too?”, about Sogar’s journey into the art.

Other performers include Chris Robinson, Lalo Rodriguez, Stephanie Casanova, Daniel Bergamini, Pauley McPaulerson (South Park), and resident emcee Anastasia Pavlinskaya.
