The 4th annual Stronger Than Yesterday: A Women's Empow-her-ment Festival is back!
Stronger Than Yesterday: A Women's Empow-her-ment Festival is a comedy extravaganza, featuring the finest improv and stand-up comedians from South Florida, New York, and Los Angeles. This year, Stronger is benefiting Leap for Ladies, an organization dedicated to empowering incarcerated women.

8:30pm - Miami Lounge Machine - a new improvised musical talk show
Join hosts Jannelys Santos (COO, Villain Theater) and Priscilla Blanco (Music Director, Villain Theater) for an improvised musical talk show, blending celebrity interviews with bombastic character work.
This year's guests include:
- Monica Rossell, Founder and CEO of Moonamie Productions, a children and teen's acting studio in South Florida.
- Brittany Brave, comedian and Tarot reader
- Lizette Alvarez, American journalist. Alvarez is a Washington Post contributing columnist. She previously worked at the Miami Herald, the New York Daily News and the New York Times, where she spent 22 years covering New York, Europe, Congress, military veterans, Florida and Puerto Rico. In her most recent posting, she served as Miami bureau chief for the New York Times. Alvarez has won several awards for her reporting including the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting and the Polk Award.
Special appearances by Anastasia Pavlinskaya, Teresita Bernace, Victoria Haig, Allison McCoin, Dri, and Chachi Colon.

Guests may make donations to Leap for Ladies in increments of $10 at the Villain Theater bar in exchange for (2) drink tickets. Each drink ticket may be redeemed for (1) Lagunitas beer. Collect bottles to enter the Lagunitas Leap Contest.
LAGUNITAS LEAP CONTEST
At the end of the event, the host of the show will determine the winner of the Lagunitas LEAP Contest. The person who collects the most bottles of Lagunitas at the end of the night wins the Top Donor Crown and Sash. The sash will read "STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY 2021 TOP DONOR SPONSORED BY LAGUNITAS AND UNITED MATTRESS MATERIALS." It's a big sash.

When You Arrive:
All guests, performers, and staff will have a mandatory temperature check before entering Villain Theater. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed in.
Everyone is required to wear a face mask when inside Villain Theater when not eating or drinking. If you don’t have a mask, we will give you one when you arrive.
During Shows:
Hand sanitizer stations are located at the entrances and throughout Villain Theater. Use them!
All high-touch surfaces including tables, chairs, door knobs, faucets, and bathrooms are sanitized and disinfected after every show or class.
We maintain social distancing throughout the theater.
Audience size is limited to allow for 6ft of space between tables and seats.
Guests are requested to stay in their seats throughout the night, unless using the restroom or visiting the bar.
Lobby seating has been reduced to help ensure social distancing.
Floor markers help guide guests to safe social distancing when approaching the bar, restrooms, and ticket area.
Plexiglass shields are installed at the bar.
